Malaysia to Japan: You'll need an adapter

You'll need a plug adapter: Malaysia uses Type C/G/M, Japan uses Type A/B, and they don't fit. Voltage differs too (230V vs 100V) -- only plug in devices rated for both, or use a voltage converter, not just a plug adapter.
